I followed this tutorial by ana white which is an easy and cost effective way to make basic wood shelving for an attic basement or garage. Without some sort of organisation a pile is created at the far end of the attic and it grows until it reaches the trapdoor. However you do not need to spend a lot of money creating the shelves. Then i screwed the outer shelf support boards onto the back boards just with a few screws to temporarily hold them.
